LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan refused to fight the Panama Leaks case for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) but, if asked, he would provide free advice, a local news channel reported.
PTI’s quest for a talented lawyer has not yet ended as, according to sources, Aitzaz made it very clear to the party that he will only provide advice in this case.
Sources said that any decision made by Aitzaz regarding the case would have to be approved by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Hamid Ali Khan – PTI’s lawyer – refused to pursue the Panama Leaks case for PTI on Friday. He said that he couldn’t fight the case any longer due to the media’s campaign against him.
