RAWALPINDI: India’s claim of destroying four Pakistani check-posts along the Line of Control (LoC) is rejected by the military’s public affairs wing, Inter-Services Public Relations.
The latest in the growing tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbours, Indian army claimed to have destroyed four Pakistani military posts on Saturday.
According to ISPR, Indian forces’ unprovoked firing in Shakargarh, Harpal and Phulkian sectors injured four civilians.
“Four Pak posts destroyed in an assault in Keran Sector. Heavy casualties inflicted,” Indian army’s Northern Command said tweeted. However, the claim was firmly rejected by the Pakistan army.
ISPR said that the ceasefire agreement was constantly being violated by the Indian forces since Saturday with unprovoked firing along the border.
