HYDERABAD: The Chairman Sub-Committee of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Abdul Waheed Shaikh has expressed his concern over acute shortage of water in Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad Talukas.
He demanded the Managing Director WASA Hyderabad to take notice of the complaints of the urban population of the district and ensure uninterrupted water supply particularly during Eid holidays.
He also demanded Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Minister for Local Government Jam Khan Shoro to resolve the financial crisis of WASA Hyderabad as the paucity of funds is badly affecting the water supply and sanitation system of Hyderabad.
