KHYBER AGENCY: Khasadar Forces foiled a bid to smuggle hashish in Wazir Dhand area of Jamrud tehsil, sources said on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, Khasadar Forces Commander, Ittehad Afridi stopped a Suzuki vehicle at Wazir Dhand area of Jamrud in Khyber Agency and recovered 57 kilograms of hashish concealed in the hidden cavities of the vehicle.
Two narcotics traffickers were also arrested and shifted to lock-up in Jamrud for further interrogation.
The name of the offenders could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.
It is noteworthy to mention here that due to the strict checking process at different check points in the Khyber Agency, Khasadar forces recovered 400 kilograms of hashish from a truck at Takhta Baig check post a couple of days ago.
