NEW DELHI: India’s Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said that a visit to Pakistan is like a visit to hell itself.
“Going to Pakistan is the same as going to hell,” Parrikar said, according to ANI. “Pakistan has encouraged terrorism, and now they are facing consequences of that policy,” he blamed.
Parrikar’s comments reflect the Indian government’s stance on Pakistan since the unrest in the Indian-held Kashmir began in July when Burhan Wani was martyred by Indian forces.
