KARACHI – The security officials on Friday arrested a person who entered the Sindh Assembly building during session along with ammunition, a private TV channel reported.
According to initial reports, worker of a local TV channel, carrying a pistol ‘easily’ entered inside the assembly building without security checking. The suspect was apprehended and presented before the speaker.
The gun was handed over to the speaker who took strict notice of this security blunder. He ordered to review the security of the building. However, the incident showed serious concerns on the weak and ineffective security arrangements around the government buildings.
