FAISALABAD: A man was tortured to death allegedly by the Police for asking money on Sunday, a private news channel reported.
Even after 10 hours since the death of the man allegedly at the hands of Police, neither a case had been registered nor had post-mortem been done. Sources have said that there were earlier reports that the deceased had entered his house and that’s where he was tortured to death but later his family said that he had ran into the house to escape the torture of Police.
His relatives and general public have come out on the roads and have blocked the road to Allied Hospital in protest. According to them the Police beat the deceased when he asked them to pay the bill. No further explanation or evidence had been uncovered so far regarding the incident.
