LAHORE: Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Muhammad Sarwar has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has become ‘wall of China’ in the way of census.
The refusal of census is contrary of democracy and constitution and until its execution unemployment, poverty and bad governance will remain fate of people, he said. He stated this while talking to media persons on Wednesday. He said the PTI stands by the Pakistan Army in war on terror.
He said that PML-N has always been an obstacle in the census because “they anticipate their political death in it” and demanded that the census be held before the next general elections. “PTI is fighting the war of collective interests while others are fighting for individual interests,” Sarwar said.
