ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain-thunderstorms with strong gusty winds is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore Divisions, Islamabad, upper Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The temperature of some major cities recorded Saturday morning: Islamabad 25C, Lahore 20C, Karachi 29C, Peshawar 24C, Quetta 17C, Muzaffarabad 18C, Murree 15C and Gilgit 12C, Radio Pakistan quoted.
According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of Pakistan and likely to persist during next 2 to 3 days.
